You might think im making this up, but they new Limited Edition Stay Classy shirts are almost all reserved already. All the people who have pre saled it so far will get it next week. We are shipping everything first thing monday or tuesday morning. I dont wanna say that its too late to get yours still because its not, but the truth of the matter is - these are going so fast that I dont see there being anymore by the end of this coming weekend. Just wanted to clear things up becuase a lot of people are saying "save me one" or "hook me up with one". I have no problem gladly hooking up my close friends but this is one of those things where my customers come first. This is a limited edition shirt and I want to make sure that the general public gets thier hands on this first before anyone. Nothing personal to my friends or family, but I do run a business and this is how I make a living. I might have made arrangements already with certain people and you know who you are. Things are still going to go the way that we discussed it so dont freak out! aha For those of you who havent done so and are planning to, please check out the site and pre sale a shirt if you want to reserve one for yourself. Again, these are going quick so get on it! Visit www.fullbloodedgoons.com for more info.

That being said, I just want to thank everyone who is supporting my brand by spreading the word, expressing interest, purchasing a presale or in any other way. Without you guys, MONSTERMASH! would literally be nothing! <3 Lets keep this going strong on the West Coast!

Stay Classy - Take Two!

Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 12:39 PM
Summer is officially over and were starting to bring on some new designs for the Winter line. At the moment we are releasing a Limited Edition Halloween shirt to hold you guys off until the actual release of the winter stuff. We know how anxious everyone is getting but rest assured, we came with our guns loaded this time around so the wait will be worth it. Anyhow, we've been working very closely with some legit artists in the industry and I came up with the idea to release a limited edition of our previous popular Stay Classy shirt. The Stay Classy shirt was a best seller the first time around and is starting to prove itself and remain in that position within the entire MONSTERMASH!™ line. Already selling close to 10 pre sales since this morning, Im not positive that this shirt is going to last very long so make sure you get your hands on it ASAP! This is a LIMITED EDITION tee, only 72 made. Printed on 100% cotton black American Apparel tee with specialty inks including a glow in the dark pigment ink for the green and a monochrome magenta for the pink. All those who purchase a pre sale from now until October 26th will also receive FREE admission to our Halloween Costume party this year, so get on that!

Stay Slimey San Diego!

Keep it gangsta ya'll! aha Just got back the first rough sketch from Jon Chase, the artist we chose to do the Limited Halloween Edition Stay Classy shirt for us. The sketch is exactly what I envisioned in my mind and its just too good, im so stoked. In the next few days its going to be operated on and the lines will become more refined and we'll be adding in some colors, shading and etc. This is going to be a pretty limited version with only 150 pieces made. Initially I wanted only 72 of these bad boys done but these are going to be in such high demand, I had to throw a few more in there. Of course this shirt will come back as a regular edition but those wont be glow in the dark like these Halloween ones. The difference between the halloween edition and regular edition Stay Classy shirts are that the Halloween ones will be printed with glow in the dark ink and have a special neck tag, whereas the regular ones will just have green ink rather then glow in the dark, and also have our regular neck tag and regular packaging - making the regular shirts cheaper in price. Of course, the whole point is to own something limited and this is the chance to do so because we will never again make these glow in the dark after this time. Also, the only place you will be able to purchase the limited edition shirt is at our Halloween Party this year. More details regarding this shirt soon. Were still in the development stages.

Destined

Today was indeed very productive. Went to get my "post surgery checkup" and everything looked good. After that, grabbed some lunch and made it back home in time to get picked up by Isaac, bass player for Thy Kingdom Come. Ive been working pretty closely with Isaac on all the new merch for his band. He decided I would be the perfect merch-guy since I have a lot of merchandising knowledge. We went down to our screen printer and dropped off a bunch of shirts and discussed color ways, pan tones, image placement and etc for all the new stuff. I took it upon myself to be prepared and make a couple of mock up sheets before we went to the printers.

I have to say, its pretty impressive. I know TKC has a lot of talent and a lot of room for growth and I just cant wait to see these guys get bigger and take the cake. They're pretty devoted and definitely hard workers as well. We all cant wait to see what these shirts look like when they are done! MONSTERMASH!™ is doing a collaboration "booty-short" design with TKC as well so the girls dont feel left out! Along with tees, TKC is printing up tank tops as well as girl shirts, trying to give some variety to their merchandise. Anyways, their next show is October 3rd at SOMA so make sure you come out and bring some extra money! I will be selling TKC gear as well as some of the last MONSTERMASH!™ shirts from the summer line. This will probably be the last time you are able to get your hands on em so make sure you come out to SOMA and say whatsup to me at the Thy Kingdom Come merchstand.

Why does everyone want to know my Emergency Room Story.

Monday, September 21, 2009 at 7:34 PM
About 6 days ago I noticed that I had a bump on my lower back. Not knowing what it was, I brushed it off my shoulder and just decided to forget about it, thinking that it would go away on its own. Little did I know, that bump would continue to grow over the course of the next few days and eventually, become so painful that I had to take myself to the Emergency Room. What started as something the size of a mosquito bite, grew into something the size of a quarter - it was a cyst (also known as an abscess). Apparently these things are common and happen to the best of us, therefore Im not ashamed to share my story or what others might consider gross or disgusting and too much information. Reader beware, it is in fact gross, disgusting AND too much information. Soooo, if you don't want to hear about it, visit another site. aha Ok, so once I was seen by a doctor I was taken in and given a shot to numb my lower back/my ass. What the doctor had to do was make an incision into the cyst and drain all the puss out. So there I was with my ass in the air, puss and blood dripping out for the whole world to see. After the puss was drained out, the doctor had to put some packing in it and close it up. Im pretty sure my ass was on display for a good 20 minutes. Anyway, after I was bandaged and closed up, the doctor told me to come back in 2 days to get my incision repacked, as if he didn't see my ass enough as it was. So tomorrow I have to go back in to repeat the process of being publicly humiliated. The good side of this whole ordeal is that I was prescribed some way cool drugs. Vicodin and antibiotics are my new best friend and have definitely made up for my pain and embarrassment. Ive managed to be drugged up most of the day today so im doing quite well. I have been pretty cautious as to how I have been treating my wound and Im actually standing at my desk as we speak - just so that I don't sit on my ass. So yeah, maybe tomorrow when I go in and get it my wound repacked ill take a sweet picture? aha Im only kidding.

MONSTERMASHIVE!: A Halloween DANCE Party

Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 12:49 AM
Lately ive been listening to a whole bunch of electronic and dance music to get inspired for the Halloween party we are throwing. So many artists have been popping out of nowhere and getting my attention - I didnt know there were so many good groups out that that catered this "genre" of music. The Bloody Beetroots in particular are awesome. I love almost everyone of their songs that I went and downloaded a couple of their albums and EP's. Anyway, the work for the halloween party is underway as we speak. Were trying to figure out a really solid song list of music that people will want to hear at the party. At one point we are going to ask all our friends on myspace and all of our other sites what songs they think we should play. The DJ will be there pumping everyone up, its going to be pretty epic. Check this video out by The Bloody Beetroots. These guys get down!

Stay Classy San Diego!

Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 10:28 AM
I've been taking that last month easy and sort of been keeping to myself, taking time to reflect. During that time I've been blessed with more and more good news. The halloween party that we are throwing is all setup. We just need to finish up some last minute stuff and by the time Halloween rolls around, we will be good to go. The flyer for that particular event is being made hopefully sometime next week so stay tuned for all the info regarding the party. On another note, I've also decided to go back to college and finish up school. It was my decision to get my shizz straight so I'm definitely excited for what my future holds as far as my education. I started school about 3 weeks ago so pardon me for not posting a blog in the last month. School really knows hows to kick my butt! But regardless, school and Monstermash have been the only two things on my mind. As time goes by theres just so much stuff that I learn about life and so many possibilities I learn of for my clothing line. I know theres so much potential for Monstermash to grow and I see in everyday things how easy it can be for me to just keep going down the right track and into a positive location. I know for a fact that a few years from now Monstermash is going to grow into just that, a MONSTER! Right now im working with an artist by the name of Jon Chase who was the previous branding manager over at Famous Stars and Straps. He has a very impressive portfolio and he has worked with so many big names in the industry. Im just really excited that he is going to be working with us on the new Limited Edition "Stay Classy" shirt. I don't want to give away too much information about that particular project but I will let you know that when we say LIMITED, we mean it. Only 72 pieces are going to be made and you will only be available to purchase them online or at the Halloween party that we are throwing. The halloween party is also going to double as the release of this particular shirt so you definitely want to make sure that you are going to be there. There will also be onsite merchandise sales so make sure you bring some money to this party if you want to get your hands on the shirt! Once this shirt is gone, its GONE. On that note, I am going to leave you guys with the Summer 2009 internet clip that we made for Monstermash. I made it myself so I hope you enjoy it! Until next time, Stay Classy!

Technological Advances

Ive been pretty much left without a computer for the past 3 weeks. It sucks that I have been doing most of my everyday tasks from an iPod touch, but hey, what can you do? aha Running a business is kinda hard when you dont have a computer right? Well lucky for me, im finally going to be getting my hands on a brand new MacBook Pro. I was using an old 17 inch PowerBook before but time took its toll in it and it finally bogged out; it was time for an upgrade already anyway. The only thing that really sucked was that I lost everything that was on my hard drive including my work, my music, projects that I was working on for clients and etc. I was pretty broke as well so it wasnt easy for me to just go out and buy another computer. Regardless of the obstacles or financial issues, I finally have the appropriated funds to get my hands on a brand new computer so im excited. Im gettin the newest generation of the 15 inch unibody MacBook Pro. Its gunna take me a whole day to get all my software back on it, but it should be some fun bonding time! aha

Quack, Quack!

Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 12:11 AM
So its been about a month since I have been able to sit down and post an update about whats been going down regarding MONSTERMASH!™. My personal life has been a bit rocky but the crew here at MM! have been on top of things and making sure everything has been running smoothly, so were still here! Ok, so as most of you might have heard, we recently lost our computer that contained all of our designs, logos, and client work. Everything that had to do with MM! was gone, leaving us without a computer and no evidence that our company even existed. Despite that major set back, we have all still been blessed with good news. First off, I just want to thank everyone for purchasing a shirt. We are almost officially SOLD OUT of EVERYTHING. We have about 9 of the FrankenBully shirts left and then were cleared out for the summer. Secondly, the MM! Company has decided that we want to expand. We are going to create a couple of off-branch companies which will include a media company and a screen printing company. The media company will consist of the best designers and photographers including myself working under one name to provide anyone who is interested with Design Services, Website designs, Photography, printable goods (business cards, flyers, posters and etc.) and much more! On top of that we are also going to become a full service in house screen printing company!! We will be offering screen printing to customers who are interested in getting the cheapest, most professional prints in town. Here at MONSTERMASH!™ we know how hard it is for bands and clothing companies to get started so our goal is going to make things as easy for them as possible by creating a one stop production house. We want to help people simplify what they got going on. Lastly, I want to thank Giza and Cameron McCool for taking such sweet ass pics for us in Malibu yesterday. We hadn't posted any pics up of our shirts yet but we had Giza model the FrankenBully shirt and dam, did they come out good! aha Imma leave you guys with all this info to process. In the meantime, check our our new blog and peep the pics in high res or go to our albums and peep the new pics in a smaller version! Thanks to everyone for all the support, we <3 yall niggas!

Independence: Everything this Country Envys

Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 11:38 AM
So its been a few days since I last posted a blog. Well, nothing major has been going on. Aside from my busy schedule in dealing with the release of the clothing line, things have actually been going pretty smoothly. Everything regarding MONSTERMASH!™ is pretty much taken care of right now and ready to go. There are a couple things that we still need to work the kinks out of, but nothing too drastic. I'd say the countdown to the release date has been pretty hectic and time consuming but it should be smooth sailing from here. Im really anticipating a good amount of merchandise sales. But regardless of sales or anything else, I am still very pleased with how far we have come as a company and the work we have put into this. The best part is yet to come! On that note, I just want to wish everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July. Try to drink responsibly and please be sure you have a designated driver if you plan on going "all out". The beach is probably a bad idea if thats where you are headed today. We went yesterday and it was already packed and swarming with police. So be sure not to get drunk and drive a vehicle. Check out this pic of my niece from the beach yesterday and BE SAFE!

Death Comes In Two's

Friday, June 26, 2009 at 12:40 AM
So as we all know, two pretty famous celebrities passed away today (or yesterday - its 1:00am aha). A lot of people around the world were shocked to find out that the Charlies Angels star Farrah Fawcett (typo? haha) died today after a 3 year battle with anal cancer. I think people were even more shocked to find that the "King of Pop" Michael Jackson passed away today of a heart attack shortly after. I guess its pretty true when people say that celebrities usually die in two's. Its pretty tragic to have a loss like this, but life does indeed go on. On another note, my day was pretty uneventful. I just worked on a new logo for a photography company called David Bowie Photography. In return for the logo and a MySpace page for this person, im getting some photo editing work done on our new promos as well as some shameless advertising and $40. aha Gotta milk it nigguhs!! Naw, I'm just kidding. Guy sounds like a cool dude and I wouldnt mind working with him in the future. Heres the logo I did for him. The lightning bolt in there was directly inspired by David Bowie himself - the "Major Tom" David Bowie. lol

Guerilla Warfare

So my business partner Isaac is the bass player in the band Thy Kingdom Come. We thought it would be a good idea to partner up and work really close with one of our artists to come up with the first Thy Kingdom Come band shirt. Together, Isaac and I thought up a wicked concept for the shirt. We pretty much went for "a 'rad' version of king kong tearing up a TKC logo". From there, it was on! aha We figured we should use bright colors to catch peoples attention as well as a really big print. So its finally done and we will soon be submitting this to the printers. It should be done by next week. MONSTERMASH!™ will be carrying this shirt as an exclusive in our store so be sure that you come by and pick one up!

Someones Got a Case of the Mondays

Monday, June 22, 2009 at 5:04 PM
I can honestly say that working from home can be pretty convenient. Although, I don't have the regular 9-5 job like most (or few) Americans, I still believe that what I do for a living can be a bit of a tedious task. I don't necessarily complain about what I do, but I think that after a while, being cooped up at home everyday can take its toll on you if you don't take the time to go out and do stuff. For the past few days its been a bit difficult for me to do this so you can imagine what kind of state I'm in (or was in). Last week went by pretty well. I worked pretty hard and winding down yesterday after a long week was pretty dope. There is no better feeling then working really hard non stop for 6 consecutive days and then kicking your feet back on a Sunday. Lighting a joint, then pairing it with delicious BBQ and an ice cold Corona. I love what I do, and I definitely do what I love.
